Dairy Goats for Sale
Once per year, we have a kidding season and sell our baby goats to the public. On our farm, we are not considered goat breeders because our goal is to keep our mamas in milk as long as possible without re-breeding them every year (feed em don't breed em)
We have a few that have been in milk for 2 years or longer and we don't follow the trend of breeding the heck out of our goats for some extra cash and mass amounts of milk each year as we care more about their health and well-being more than anything. After all, they are our source of raw delicious and healthy milk as well as our pets and friends.
We split our herd when it comes to breeding, which means that half will kid (have babies) one year, while the other half takes the entire year off without any kidding so that they can recover, take a break, and just be goats.
Once they do have kids, the kids stay with them for 6-8 weeks before we find them a good vetted home. We freely educate the new owners and ensure they have all the tools they need to raise healthy happy goats and we are always available to answer questions and provide you with advice the whole way through.
If you want to take your babies before the 6 weeks is up, they must be bottle fed and please know that this requires a time commitment and for you to be there to feed them 3-4 times per day by bottle. It's not for everyone, but it is one of the best ways to bond with your new baby goat.
Our kidding season is coming up the second week of January 2022 and you may call, text, or email for information and to be put on the waiting list.
Please note that our goat's are large dairy breed, Alpines and Nubians, not miniature goats. We can register them for an extra fee if needed.
